Over the past decade, the IPPP Programme has successfully unlocked rapid, large-scale development of energy generation infrastructure and is leveraging infrastructure investment to transform the economy, stimulate growth and create jobs, changing not only the energy landscape in South Africa, but also the lives and livelihoods of people. This page celebrates the growing number of significant contributions the IPPPP and IPPs are making towards the upliftment of many ordinary lives. The tremendous success of the IPPPP is testimony to how effectively Government and the private sector have focused efforts to employ our readily available renewable resources towards true, sustainable development.
